Privacy Policy

This page says what The Daily Me stores, why, and who handles it. We do not sell your data. We do not show ads.

What we store

Why we use it

We use your data to run the app: to sign you in, to write summaries, to make audio, to answer your questions and to apply fair-use limits. We use it for nothing else.

Who handles it

Each of these providers protects your data at least as well as this policy describes.

On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, Ask can write its answer on the phone. Your question still goes to our servers so we can find the right passages in your library, and the question and answer are saved to your account with your other chats. When your iPhone can turn your voice into text by itself, the recording stays on the phone.

This website

This website sets no cookies and has no analytics. The pages load no third-party fonts or scripts. Cloudflare serves the pages and keeps standard server logs.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. To delete it, open Settings in the app and choose Delete account. Your sessions end at once. A background job then deletes your account, articles, summaries, cards, chats, recordings, audio and counters.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address below. You can delete your account yourself at any time.

Changes

If we change this policy, we change the date at the top. For a large change, we also tell you in the app.
